Associate Product Manager ||Hybrid -Florida at Orlando, Florida, USA
Email: [email protected]
Title:                                      Associate Product Manager

Location:                              Orlando, Florida (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)

Duration:                             12+ months contract

Visa:                                      USC, GC, GC-EAD

Interviews:                         (2) 1 panel and 1 with the HM

Client:                                   Walt Disney Parks & Resorts

Team supports Hey Disney, which is a new Smart Speaker which is in all the Walt Disney World Hotel Rooms, as of later this month, and is also a at home product for consumers with Amazon Echo Devices

It is a small team right now, looking to grow.

The role is a little hybrid. 50% Hands on Keyboard Content Management work, and 50% more product management work, with the objective to grow this individual into more of a product manager, and toward the end of the project, instead of a 50/50 split, be more of a 25% /75% split.  To begin with, more of a 50/50 split.

Most of the CMS work will be more Hey Disney with their Magic Man plus team as their sister team. There would also be some CMS work related to magic man plus as well. And they use Tritan CMS.

Looking for more Associate Level, but might consider more seasoned if they need to adjust the rate down the line.

Tools: Some sort of hands on keyboard work in a content management system is going to be critical for this role, as thats a gap on their team right now, which they dont currently have. This is probably the most critical skill!

And work experience with Jira.

People who come from Newsrooms are a plus, but not required.

Day to Day:

They would expect that approximately half of their time, a lot of hands-on keyboard producer works that are entering to their content management system.

And also expect them to be attending daily scrum with their tech team, attending the other team meetings, going through their backlog at Hey Disney and prioritizing what are the stories they should be putting into their next Sprint, do these stories and tickets need additional acceptance criteria, do they need to do some more testing with their QA team to understand some of these tickets a little more.

As they become more seasoned, will transition from that to also be writing some user stories as their developing some enhancements and new features as well.
