Role: Cloud Performance Engineer Locations: Fort Mills, SC/ Charlotte, NC/ Dallas, TX (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3 Days every week. Local or Nearby candidates only. Must Have: JMeter AWS Cloud Performance testing & Reporting (in terms of team metrics), are key skills Strong Performance Testing experience Strong Tool experience with JMeter, BlazeMeter Good experience with Messaging Streams in Cloud Experience with Snowflake Monitoring and Performance Engineering - Dynatrace, Splunk, Solar Winds Job Description: Minimum 10 years of experience in technical role delivering Performance Engineering Solutions Strong communication skills, able to effectively communicate ideas and technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences Must have performance testing experience with public cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP Should have good hands-on experience simulating real-time prod load using tools like JMeter, Blaze Meter etc. Hands-on experience in building robust performance test suites in JMeter/ Blaze meter Should have strong experience using APM tools like Dynatrace/AppDynamics. Should possess deep dive skills to find the potential root cause of API performance issues across different layers, messaging queues, DB and offer optimizing solutions to stakeholders. Implement CI/CD for Performance as part of the End-to-End Enterprise Pipeline. Experience with DevOps / Orchestration Tools -- Git , Bitbucket , Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker Test and Analyze performance, and work with cross functional teams to identify bottlenecks across multiple layers of the system and their root cause, impacts on Production infrastructure. Should have batch performance testing and tuning experience. Should have basic knowledge on key performance engineering concepts like CPU, GC, Memory Profiling, SQL Query and SPROC. Must be efficient and flexible to work with multiple teams across different locations and time zones. Must be able to work in fast paced Agile environment and give project updates on daily stand up. Good to have service emulation/virtualization knowledge, mobile performance engineering and SRE experience.
