| From: nitu, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Project Manager Location NYC Prefer candidates local to NY/NJ since some managers are asking for some onsite work Assignment Details Project Manager Candidate will be responsible for working with business organizations to implement software solutions in accordance with IT standards. Candidate will be working on multiple projects simultaneously and will be responsible for overseeing the project plan, budget and following up on the status of each project. Candidate will need to interact with the business users in order to get the aforementioned status updates. Candidate will also be required to access the PI360 system to provide project status updates, especially regarding capital and O&M project spend. The candidate will collaborate with business partners and vendors participating the full application development life cycle, including planning, requirements gathering, business analysis, design, development, testing, and training. Specific responsibilities are to maintain project plan, track project status, host meetings and coordinate team efforts, manage change requests, gather technical business requirements, engage internal IT SMEs and create project documentation, including status reports. Additional responsibilities include: Prepare IT mandated documentation for the project Support Business Project Manager throughout the project Coordinate efforts of internal IT and external resources for all technical changes Manages resources to deliver tasks on schedule and budget Ensures that all testing is complete and documented Leads change control process for the project Participates in Go-live preparation activities and decisions Provides transition to support / documents support structure Skills & Requirements The position is for an experienced technical project manager with 5+ years experience with project management on IT software implementation projects. The candidate must possess the ability to work on multiple projects independently and simultaneously. The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate. Experience with system development life cycle Experience with creating and maintaining project documents, including developing and managing the project plan.
