| Software Engineer New York, NY Contract Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or other Technical degree Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Nice to Have Experience with Lifecycle Management of Harmony Software Effective communication and presentation skills Works well by collaborating with the team. Strong C/C++ development with working knowledge of OOA&D and UML Knowledge of Qt framework and DDS is desirable. Highly knowledgeable of low-level debugging Highly knowledgeable and demonstrated experience in software engineering processes and product life cycles. Experience in embedded software engineering of complex systems interfacing electrical and mechanical hardware preferred. Experience developing unit testing with Google Test. Experience developing software in a regulated industry such as medical, aerospace, defense, etc. preferred. Experience with Agile RCHs, Spreadsheet Validation, Script Validation and Data integrity checks. A Day in Life Design, develop and test complex software modules and takes ownership of these modules in terms of functionality, performance and quality. Identify and implement the best-in-class systems software development processes, methods, tools, standards and documentation.
