In this role, you will be pivotal in implementing and overseeing scrum processes across our organization or within specific work units. Your primary responsibilities will include coaching team members in scrum methodology, leading scrum events, and removing barriers to ensure successful sprints. This is a proactive role that involves collaborating with stakeholders, supporting release planning, and facilitating effective communication between the scrum team and Product Owner. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and facilitate all scrum events throughout the lifecycle, ensuring smooth collaboration within cross-functional teams. - Facilitate and actively participate in the daily scrum meetings. - Assist the team in maintaining their burndown chart and shield them from interruptions during sprints. - Remove obstacles that impede the progress of the team and guide the Product Owner through more technical user stories. - Encourage collaboration between the scrum team and Product Owner to enhance decision-making. - Provide and communicate backlog tracking, monitor burndown charts, product metrics, and forecast velocity. - Oversee the flow of work related to tasks associated with each requirement (user story). - Coordinate and facilitate all agile events, ensuring the team has the necessary tools for efficient work. - Forecast the number of scrum deliverables possible in an iteration based on evidence and reliable sources. - Continuously negotiate with the Product Owner to remove product impediments throughout the product development life cycle. - Improve the efficiency of the development team and provide continuous education on agile methodology. - Manage scrum team conflicts while ensuring the product stays on track within the agreed-upon budget. - Ensure the scrum team fulfills their commitments and deliverables. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a dynamic and collaborative environment. - Strong understanding of scrum methodology, agile principles, and the software development life cycle. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills. - Ability to identify and eliminate barriers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. - Demonstrated success in coaching and guiding teams to deliver high-quality results.
