| From: Jay, Brillius [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Multi-cloud Senior Database Engineer Architect CAndidate can choose to work on any of 1000+ pulsepoints of client 4 days a week onsite Rate: Open DOE 10+ years in IT Minimum Provide architectural guidance, assistance, and technical leadership with public cloud databases Demonstrate maturity and understanding of cloud database provisioning in one or more public cloud (AWS, Azure, and GCP) offerings, in particular AWS Hands-on knowledge with one or more of the following: MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDS, Oracle, SQL Server Database migration using AWS services: VPC/SG, EC2, S3, Autoscaling, CloudFormation, Snowflake, RDS, Aurora, AWS DMS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Docker, Lambda etc. Experience in defining, developing, and implementing automated processes for cloud databases (monitoring, alerting, backup, recovery, tagging, etc.) Work closely with development teams, cloud security & compliance, and infrastructure teams, etc. to execute on auto scaling and right sizing cloud database cost saving initiatives Subject Matter Expert in migrating on-prem databases to cloud based infrastructure databases Manage and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure, including RDS PostgreSQL databases.
