Title : - Data Analyst (Onsite) Duration 6+ Months Location Albany, NY (Need local only) Visa open Job description: We are an immediate need for the role of Data Analyst in support of a major New York State client. The Data Analyst will support the New York State Database Application Vital Events (DAVE) project and support the birth data and fetal death data migration efforts. The successful candidate requires: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data migration from large complex legacy systems (Oracle and VSAM data sources). Government project experience involving data migration tasks. Expertise with the extraction of data from legacy data sources (in this case Oracle and VSAM) Experience loading extracted data into a staging database and cleaning up any data issues. Experience loading data into the VitalChek application. VitalChek (https://www.vitalchek.com/v/) is an application that the NYS DOH has acquired that manages birth and death certificates in NY.
