Testing - Should be good in understanding user story & creating both positive & negative test scenarios; good analytical skills to identify gaps & defects in the system; good understanding of agile methodology & QA process Java - Using Java to create / maintain Selenium automation suites; should have good logical ability to write code to solve simple logical problems [how to sort/compare objects] and leverage OOP capabilities of Java; ability to identify good approaches to create non-flakey automation tests **there will be testing on interviews, Need to be able to automate a test Java 8; they need to be good in the basics of Java & OOPs The Test Engineer (Software Development Engineer in Test) is a developer in test responsible for development and maintenance of automated test, and work on various software test engineering activities. Experienced in Java and Selenium with the ability to write Test Cases and automate tests that validate the application functionality. Should possess excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, be able to interact with application development teams, business analysts, SME's, business users and project managers to understand requirements and communicate status. The Enterprise Test Engineering ("ETE") family is responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses include regression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. Your Primary Responsibilities: Support overall test engineering activities such as development of Test Approach, Test Cases, and manual test execution as needed. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium. Integrate Selenium scripts with Jenkins CloudBees. Maintain well organized records of test results and generate historical analysis of test results. Works closely with application development and other technical teams to Understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of test scripts. Identify internal and external interfaces and develop test cases. Ensures all development life cycle test engineering work of other team members, including the review of high-level designs, detail designs, and test plans and results, is completed according to standards Assists with issues resolution Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of related experience in software testing and test automation using Java/selenium Bachelor's degree in IT or related field. Talents Needed for Success: Experience in writing SQL queries Experience in creation of testing strategy and automation design document Experience with ALM, JIRA, and Git Experience in API testing is good to have Exposure to mainframe batch testing is good to have.
