Design and implement complex Python back-end applications and data pipelines. Provide supervision and guidance to development teams. Research current and emerging technologies, proposing changes as needed. Inform stakeholders about issues with current technical solutions and assess their business impact. Communicate directly with enterprise architects, developers, and clients. Design, implement, and/or use RESTful web services. Write testable, well-thought-out code within the Python ecosystem. Deploy applications using Dockers and Kubernetes. Deploy applications in cloud-based servers. Conduct performance testing under load to ensure reliability and scalability. Monitor timelines and progress, ensuring team members adhere to specifications. Act as a team player with strong spoken and written English skills. Requirements: 10 years of experience as a Python developer/Solution Architect with server-side coding expertise. Attention to detail and ability to build reliable, scalable, and flexible software. Mandatory Skills: Prior experience working on a scalable cloud-based application. Very strong knowledge and experience with Python, including expertise in Python class, collection, NumPy, pandas, etc. Very strong knowledge and experience with SQL, RDMS, Data modeling, and DB design. Experience in designing, implementing, and using RESTful Web Services with Service-Oriented Architecture. Experience in developing applications using Microservices. Experience with Kubernetes/OCP. Good hands-on experience working in Unix/Linux platforms. Solid understanding of version control principles, preferably using Git/BitBucket. Working experience with logger usage. Good knowledge and experience in working with cloud services - AWS/Azure. Knowledge and experience with deploying applications using Dockers and Jenkins. Good to Have Skills: Knowledge and experience deploying applications on a cloud instance. Experience with Kafka and Redis. Experience in handling streaming data. Knowledge and experience with authentication methods using OKTA or third-party apps. Some experience with core Java.
