Work location: Remote(but soon client might ask candidate to come onsite-Atlanta ) Job description B1 Data Engineer o Total Experience: 3+ Years o Relevant experience in Azure data engineering: 2+ years. o Relevant experience in Databricks (PySpark / Scala / SparkSQL): 1+ years. o Relevant experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF): 1+ years. o Relevant experience in SQL: 1+ years. o Required Skills: Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL databases. o Good to have: Azure DevOps, Power BI, Azure IAAS services, and Excel Pivot Tables. o A minimum of 3 years of development and architect experience with large-scale data and analytics solutions. o Experience in turning business use cases and requirements into technical solutions. o Experience in business processing mapping of data and analytics solutions. o Experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies. o Experience in developing ADF pipeline for data ingestion/integration frameworks capable of processing structured, semi-structured & unstructured data sets in batch & real-time. o Strong knowledge in querying external tables in Azure Synapse. o Experience in managing teams, being a technical coach. o Experience driving knowledge transfer and/or training programs. o Experience with agile delivery methodologies, proof of concepts and prototyping. o Experience with Azure ARM templates, Power and CI/CD using Azure DevOps. o Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows.
