Working knowledge of Maven, or other build tools Ability to apply concepts of TDD and BDD to create repeatable, fail-fast test suites with proven knowledge of Cucumber BDD and Gherkin At least 2 years' experience with using automated testing tools and frameworks (Postman,SOAPUI, Selenium or similar) . Experience with non-UI automation scripting preferred. Experience building and executing automated and performance tests for API-based services. Exposure to using relational and non-relational databases: Oracle, MySQL and MongoDB to query/import/export data. Ability to set-up and manage test data for testing purposes. Familiarity with configuring Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as GitLab, GitHub or Jenkins Hands-on experience with Intellu, VS Code or other IDE development tools Experience in peer code reviews and effective collaboration with other SDETs and developers on an agile scrum team in a fast-paced environment Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git with demonstrated experience of using git commands and branching Proven experience with defect management and triage Proven experience working with JIRA and Confluence Requirements KEY ATTRIBUTES: Automation-first mindset -> this is NOT a manual testing opportunity Deep understanding of the SDLC (software development lifecycle) with QA (quality assurance) concepts implemented in each step. Must be proficient in guiding teams through implementation of automation-first QA practices from ideation to implementation, reporting and performance. Experience in security domain or related field Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate internally, upward, and cross functionally; ability to interface with cross functional team members to gain support required to accomplish assignments; able to build coalitions. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent education and work experience required.
