Role: Application Security Architect Location: Remote Permanent Duration: 6+ months Contract Position Technical experience and skills 10+ years of Application security experience. 7+ years of Check marx or equivalent SAST tool experience, including custom rule development Exposure to Checkmarx one is mandatory. Maintain and expand the configuration of the enterprise static application security testing system, Checkmarx One, to improve effectiveness and coverage Provide expert, 3rd level support. Provide best practices documentation. Drive vendor accountability to address product defects. Maintain & Support patching, upgrade, and business continuity testing. Collaborate with Application Security Champions, development team members, and other Cybersecurity teams as a product SME. Experience with 1 or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Visual C++, C, COBOL, PYTHON, PERL A strong understanding of cloud (preferably Azure) Achieves security architecture compliance on relevant regulatory requirements including PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, and data privacy requirements when applicable. 7+ years of Experience with AppScan or equivalent DAST tool. Hands on experience in Security testing of web application, web services, web APIs, mobile application, and OS (i.e., Android, iOS, Windows) Experience on RASP & IAST (Contrast) tools Experience on other tools such as Postman, Soap UI, Burp suite Desired to have experience on DevSecOps to on-board the scanning components to CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data, and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations. Familiarity with the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program.
