Job Title: Mid-Level Software Engineer Location : Remote - VA Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with specific experience in projects related to enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Travel & Expense (T&E) software, including platforms like SAP Concur and Chrome River. Responsibilities: 1. Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions for ERP and T&E systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the full software development life cycle. 2. ERP and T&E Expertise: Utilize expertise in ERP and T&E software, including but not limited to SAP Concur and Chrome River, to develop customized solutions. Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in ERP and T&E technologies. 3. Coding and Debugging: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards and best practices. Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing timely resolution. 4. Collaboration: Work closely with software architects, product managers, and UX designers to deliver software solutions that meet business objectives and user needs. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. 5. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for software projects. Address and resolve identified defects and issues during testing phases. 6. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, code documentation, and release notes. Contribute to knowledge sharing within the development team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on ERP and T&E software. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar. Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Knowledge of database systems (SQL, MongoDB, etc.) and data modeling. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration tools. Effective problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Desired Experience: Previous experience with SAP Concur, Chrome River, or other ERP and T&E systems. Exposure to cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
