Interview Required: Video A senior (10+ years preferred) Palo Alto Firewall resource with advanced Palo Alto skills. Candidates must be local to South Florida (Tampa, Jacksonville and Orlando are NOT commutable) and be on site 2-3 days a week in Deerfield Beach/Ft. Lauderdale. Local candidates are strongly preferred but they will consider a candidate who will relocate and start day one onsite. Local candidates will get first preference. Job Description: Requires an on-site senior engineer to manage and support Palo Alto firewalls The engineer will have extensive knowledge of both LAN/WAN designs and the support process encompassing large complex network deployments; will be well-versed with network routing, routers/switches routing protocol knowledge, VPN, SDWAN/VWAN/MPLS, and VRF; and will be familiar with malware detection and blocking concepts, and route- and policy-based traffic forwarding At least 8 years of experience engineering, configuring, and supporting Palo Alto firewalls Supporting and implementing end-user VPN access solutions such as Prisma Access and Global Protect Experience supporting critical infrastructure for major utility operations Responsibilities Troubleshooting and resolving failures Implementing configuration changes Connectivity testing and troubleshooting Tracking, documenting, and remediating vulnerabilities Performing patches and upgrades of firewalls Performing regular firewall policy analysis tasks for tuning and hardening firewall policy Developing, implementing, and documenting firewall security rules based on requirements Benefits -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *** Please make sure that each submittal includes: Drivers license or State ID Link to the candidates LinkedIn account.
