Responsible for software configuration management between all PROD and Non-PROD Instances for Vision Wireless East/North/West/B2B and Vision 5th instance for Wireline and Telephone Inventory ETNI at North.
Execution of packages created by Dev team in Endeavor. Dev team will not be having access to move the code into Dev and Test Regions. Responsible for code movements to Test regions.
Once code moved in Endeavor Test regions has to move to East/North/West/B2B Test regions. Taken care of standardization based on Test regions for batch elements (JCL, RLB, CTL and PRC).
Responsible for environment set up with Fresh data on Test Regions and incremental loads based on development team and Testing team requests every day.
Responsible for publishing bill cycle schedule and completing them on time in East/North/West/B2B regions.
Resolving bill cycle abends and CA7 issues. Taken care of ad hoc job requests, SPUFI requests and job schedulers enable/disable.
Reference data validation and invoice/bill validations
Responsible for NON-PROD CICS regions issues and Monitory closely for any CICS issues. If any CICS issues notify SCM team to enable/disable Transactions until dev team fix the issue.

MIPS reduction process using cloud frame product to run jobs on Cloud Frame instead of Mainframe so MIPS will be reduced which saves cost to company.
We will maintain those AWS instances of Cloud frame and Re-hydrate those AWS instances.

Project: NY, NE, NPD & MDV LEC Billing

The NY, NE, NPD and MDV LEC billing are wireline applications that hold the customers receivables at an account level. It handles all payments and adjustments to customer accounts. It applies billing information received from the usage (Toll Call charges) and other credit and charge applications (Monthly Service Charges and Non-Recurring Services charges), along with Carrier Invoices (Contains long distance Toll Charges for carriers such as Sprint, MCI). It calculates some of the taxes and Surcharges being applied to a customer s bill. It calculates the bottom line of the bill and passes the information for bill printing to an application called CFPD. Billing Revenue is passed to the Revenue Reporting System (Called MCREV or MRR) for booking for financial reporting it also sends treatment notices to customers for non-payment. These notices explain they must pay so much money or their service may be interrupted. MDV will do Pricing only for the Voice Services; but it will receive the feed with the Internet & TV charges from the respective Billers in the form of Mainframe file and displays those charges on the bill to the customer long with the Voice services.

Earlier Verizon used to handle only local phone services, now it handles long distance calls and broadband services etc. VIBE looks after New England and New York and includes the south region of South Region of East US.
