To enable the transformation of Claims Admin system a Data Integration transformation was needed which comprised of decoupling 80 plus data integrations from the Legacy Claims Admin system and redesigning it on a centralized Claim Data Hub. The Migration activity is driven in various phases starting with a Data Gap analysis, Gap analysis walkthrough and 150 plus reports rebuild, reconciliations on the new warehouse. Roles and Responsibilities: Performed Gap Analysis by understanding the field level logic from Legacy system and the new warehouse in snowflake system. Add new fields in the warehouse for the Reports on the New Warehouse. Created stored procedures for extraction of data from warehouse for the reports. Created a new data model and redesigned some of the existing stored procedures to improve the performance. Created Flat and wide Tables to baseline the performance against a cube. Created Data Masking for the PII attributes in the new warehouse. Created Data Cloning. Implemented a Real time OFAC Solution by calling a webservice from a Snowflake stored procedure. Balanced 40 plus reports from the Legacy system and new warehouse and baselined performance. This solution extracts data from various sources like the policy admin system, Claim system etc. The data from the various sources are loaded into a processing database and the business rules and the state specific requirements are applied, and the extract is generated to support the producers and Policy holders Responsibilities. Requirement understanding from State Filings and Memos about the Rate increase. Created Load procedures to load data from the Rate sheets/Excel sheets into the database. Performed complex data analysis to understand and prove the impact of the Rate increase to the stake holders.
