1. Project: FFS June 2023 till date
Client: Citibank NA
Role: ETL Ab Initio Architect

Description: FFS is a ledger management system of Citibank. It has two modules -

a. CDA (Common Data Acquisition) from various upstreams that send journal entries and store the journal entries into journal tables
b. J2B (Journal to Balance) - The journal entries received in the first module are used to derive the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual balances for entities within Citibank

Responsibilities:
Solution Designing, analysis and development of Ab Initio graphs and plans, UNIX scripts, SQL Queries etc. as per requirement within the deadlines.
Lead the team to deliver on multiple modules simultaneously within stringent deadlines with high client satisfaction.
Direct client interaction for requirement gathering and Sign-Off
Handling the BA queries and fixing any bugs found. Getting business sign-off.
Optimizing, EME compliance clearing and defect fixing of the Ab Initio jobs.
Impact Analysis and Analysis as per client requests.

2. Project: Pearl, Genesis EAP Sep 2019 to May 2023

Description: Pearl is a single franchise critical application of Citi that incorporates the Performance Measurement Framework (PMF) for Global Management Reporting. It effects a common information language for business performance measurement and reviews and unifies and simplifies the demand for information from countries and facilitates the implementation of common financial platforms and reporting infrastructure operated through shared services.

Pearl acquires the financial data systematically from Full Suite and other regional GLs and provides the systematic capability to perform reconciliations, tax top off, management capital line, reporting data dimension standardization, historical functional adjustments, incorporates data level security and other operational processes for cube and year on year archival modules.

Responsibilities:
Solution Designing, analysis and development of Ab Initio graphs and plans, UNIX scripts, SQL Queries etc. as per requirement within the deadlines.
We also took up a project to migrate some of our data from DB2 to AWS Cloud
Lead the team to deliver on multiple modules simultaneously within stringent deadlines with high client satisfaction.

Role: Designer/Developer

Description: RCD is a migration project that is aimed at replacing an existing mainframe DLL project that provides data to offline meters associated with FedEx. RCD will prepare component data that will be fed to the meters daily.

Responsibilities:
Solution Designing, analysis and development of Ab Initio graphs and plans, UNIX scripts, SQL Queries etc. as per requirement within the deadlines.
Worked on multiple modules simultaneously, as a solo team member to deliver all of them successfully within deadlines with high client satisfaction.

2. Project: COGS May 2015 to July 2018

Description: Cost of goods sold (COGS) is the direct costs attributable to the production of the goods sold in a company. This amount includes the cost of the materials used in creating the good along with the direct costs used to produce the good. It excludes indirect expenses such as distribution costs and sales force costs. The COGS team was responsible for accumulating the relevant data from disparate systems, doing the necessary modifications and providing the data to our end client in the form of database tables, and email reports.

Responsibilities:

1. Project: Transfer Pricing Dec 13 to Apr 15

Role: Lead

Description: Each day as business is carried out throughout the bank, money flows out in the form of loans, porches of securities and currency and flows in as customer deposit and sales of securities and currency, etc. At the end of the day, product systems hold a list of transactions which took place during the day and balances at close of business. TP as a method is used to individually measure how each source of funding contributes to overall profitability.
The fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) process is used in JPMC to outline areas of strength and weakness in businesses by calculating cost of funding of transactions.

Responsibilities:
Involved in development, enhancements, and analysis of change impact.
Performed Regression testing for new countries, which were added to the source feed.
Delivered incremental enhancements to existing ETL generating data feeds.
Involved in Performance tuning of graphs to decrease the time it takes to complete the load.
Responsible for code migration to production with the help of Deployment team.
Involved in disaster recovery tests and planning.

1. Project: SPIDER, Citi Oct 12 to Nov 13
Description: SPIDER (Security Position Interest Disclosure Enterprise Reporting) deals with regulatory reporting of Citi s holdings with each jurisdiction in which it trades. It also helps the business in decision-making through its regular reports, on stocks, bonds, options, futures and other derivatives.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of ETL graphs using Ab Initio.
Analyze and identify the root cause of ETL failure using Ab Initio logs and graphs.
Scheduling the tasks using Autosys.
Providing DB scripts help make our graphs more configurable.
Preparing technical design documents, reviewing the codes of team members.

1. Project: CCDRi, Visa May 11 to Oct 12
Description: The CCDRi is a common data repository system for Visa information Management (VIM) which supports the processing of data files, normalization, extract, transform and loading (ETL) of data into data warehouse. The goal of this project is to improve any kind of delay in the data load into end systems. It involves the improvement of ETL process and fixing the data base and server issues.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of ETL graphs using Ab Initio.
Development of graphs to extract data from CCDR database; load into staging area, transform and load into dimension and fact tables.
Analyze and identify the root cause of ETL failure using Ab Initio logs and graphs.
Analyze the audit reports and data load process to avoid any discrepancies.
Involved in the maintenance activities and resolved technical issues in database and servers.

2. Project: UNUM-DW Jan 09 to Apr 11
Description: Unum s Data-Warehouse (DW) is a single integrated information repository for all operational, tactical and strategic reporting and is heavily used in company s financial reporting applications and on a limited basis in support of operational reporting and customer service. Unum DW consists of multiple ETL and reporting application development activities for Claims, Benefits, Enrollments, Medical Leaves, Renewals, Agreements and Customer subject area.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of ETL graphs using Ab Initio.
Loading data into various layers such as Staging, Integration.
Preparation of Unit Test Case document (UTC) and Unit test results (UTR).
Involved in Code walkthrough with client and tech leads, sending Minutes of meeting (MOM) and weekly status reports to them.
Provided technical support to team members and guided new team members to understand project specific coding and process related standards.

3. Project: Explore Aug 07 to Nov 08
Description: EXPLORE processes the data depending on business requirement and load into target data mart. It is the tool hospitals use to evaluate, understand, and drive clinical process improvement and resource utilization within their facility. Containing one of the most comprehensive and dynamic clinical analysis and resource utilization databases in the industry, it provides the foundation to evaluate and compare patterns of patient care among physicians and across hospitals.
Responsibilities:
Coding of Informatica mappings to load data into various layers such as Staging, Integration, dimensions and Fact tables.
Mappings are developed using various transformations, Source Qualifier, Expression, lookup, update strategy, filter, UNION, Aggregator, Sorter, Filter, Router et al.
Preparation of Unit Test Case document (UTC) and Unit test results (UTR).
Involved in sending Minutes of meeting (MOM) and weekly status reports to the client.
