Basically, this application interacts with other applications for retrieving key information like Claim Creation, Retrieve Documents etc. Care point is the application which creates FNOL (First Notice of Loss) claim based on type of the claim, then the system assigns it to the claim handler from claims connect application. CC application takes care of retrieving documents from File-net system and processes the claim further based on inputs to decide if the created claim is an Auto, property, or General claim. According to the category claim handlers moves it to further investigations to get it approved or rejected. If any additional investigation is required then the claim handlers assign a nurse to the claim and it undergoes some sort of nurse investigations. Nurses do create assignments for grabbing the information according to their requirement and assigns it back to claim handler. Likewise, the application goes to different levels to process the claim and close all the assignments accordingly.
