Consultant Guidewire Integration Developer
Client: ACG of AAA October 2020 Till Date

Description: Guidewire Policy Center provides a Policy Administration System for P&C insurance carriers. The project aims to replace existing legacy PAS with guidewire products and configure and implement data model changes, UI changes, business rules, workflows and to integrate with other systems like digital portal, document management system and claims systems to support ACG operations.

Responsibilities:
Worked with Digital Portal development team to understand the requirements and develop new and change the OOTB Edge APIs to integrate with Policy Center.
Worked on building SOAP/REST APIs to support third party integration such as AirHazard, Windpool.
Configured data model and PCFs as per requirements
Implemented and tested business rules as per requirements
Worked on modifying the Billing Center and Policy Center webservices to send new elements in payload.
Created new APIs to send policy details to legacy Claims System.
Created batch process to add the claims sent by legacy claims system in staging table in Policy Center.
Worked on sending the payloads to external system like IVANS and Document Management System using GX Model and GW Messaging.
Worked on forms, form inference, Underwriting rules and Product Designer.
Worked on resolving UAT defects and production incidents.
Worked on remediation of production incidents by querying the DB for affected policies and running GOSU scripts/SQL queries.

Description: The Carrier Automation project aims at automating prepaid cell phone users various activities like line allocation, feature changes, activation, deactivation and suspension of account.
This application will interact with major mobile phone carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon, and US cellular and request new line activation or feature changes or any feature resets.

Responsibilities:
Developed the Java based web application using Spring Framework that leverages classical MVC architecture.
Hands on Java business logic development with the use of Object-Oriented concepts like Inheritance, Polymorphism.
Used design patterns MVC, Session Facade throughout the application.
